Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a Retail Support Merchandiser in Salisbury, NC. This independent contractor role supports ongoing store merchandising and project-based initiatives, helping create compelling in-store experiences for leading brands.

The ideal candidate works well independently, builds strong store partnerships, and executes merchandising projects with accuracy and care. A fast-paced, flexible environment and smartphone-based reporting are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a strong eye for merchandising and visual presentation.
• Planogram experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock, replenish, and merchandise products to maintain brand standards and in-store presentation.
• Execute merchandising projects, displays, resets, and promotional initiatives with precision and attention to detail.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store management and associates.
• Ensure planogram compliance and maintain product placement standards.
• Complete store visit reports, including photos and detailed feedback, using mobile reporting tools.
• Effectively communicate opportunities, challenges, and project updates.
• Manage schedules and assigned store visits to ensure deliverables are completed on time.
• Maintain a high level of quality, professionalism, and accountability across all assignments.
• Support large-scale merchandising and retail execution initiatives as needed.
