Job summary

SFS is growing and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers flexible, supplemental income servicing some of the nation’s largest retailers and brands.

Assignments typically range from 12–20 hours per month, with client windows guiding timing. You will review instructions, perform merchandising tasks, stock displays, and report via mobile device. Ideal for self-motivated professionals seeking supplemental income.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting.
• Available during weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Smartphone or tablet with internet access.
• Active email address for project communication.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
