Job summary

SFS is growing its nationwide network of independent contractors and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers to support major retailers with flexible, project-based work. This is an excellent opportunity for self-motivated professionals seeking supplemental income while servicing some of the nation’s largest retailers and brands.

Assignments typically range from 12–20 hours per month, with service windows set by clients and some locations requiring work during the first two weeks of each month.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to manage multiple assignments independently.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
