Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide contractor network. This flexible, project-based role offers self-motivated professionals a chance to work with major retailers and brands across the United States.

Assignments include merchandising, product resets, audits, and stock organization with planograms; projects typically 12–20 hours per month. You control your schedule and location, traveling between stores as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut‑ins, display maintenance, and promotions.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed and accepted.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
