Job summary

SFS is growing its nationwide network of independent contractors and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers. This role offers flexible, supplemental income while servicing major retailers and brands.

Assignments vary by project and window, typically 12-20 hours per month, with some locations requiring service in the first half of each month. Ideal for self-motivated professionals who work well independently.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, or related field preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds repeatedly and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Complete required reporting with photos and documentation via mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
