Job summary

Signature Companies is seeking independent contractors to perform residential insurance inspections. As a 1099 contractor, you will travel to client locations, conduct inspections, take photographs, record measurements, and produce detailed reports reviewed by underwriters.

You set your own schedule with a 21‑day turnaround for each inspection; invoices are processed monthly through our cloud‑based system. Applicants must have reliable transport and a high‑speed internet connection.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of comparable experience (home inspector, loss control, or underwriting).
• Reliable transportation and high‑speed internet connection.
• Owns a smartphone/tablet/PC and a digital camera for field work.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments with homeowners and conduct on‑site surveys.
• Take photographs and perform detailed property measurements.
• Document construction details, architectural features, and ownership risks.
