Job summary

Signature Companies seeks Independent Contractors to perform Residential Insurance Inspections. You will travel to client locations, conduct surveys, take photos, measure properties, and prepare detailed reports for underwriters.

Qualifications

Requires at least two years of comparable experience in home inspection, loss control, or underwriting.
Reliable transportation and high-speed internet connection required.
Proficiency with inventory and reporting software and a Windows PC.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred: underwriting or residential inspection experience and CPCU/IIA certifications.

Responsibilities

Schedule appointments with homeowners and conduct on-site surveys.
Take photographs and perform detailed measurements of the property.
Document construction details and ownership risks.
Identify underwriting concerns and outline recommendations to prevent losses.
Compile written replacement-cost estimates and full inspection reports.
Submit reports online and ensure quality checks before forwarding to underwriting staff.
