Job summary

Signature Companies is recruiting independent contractors to perform residential insurance inspections on a 1099 basis. You will travel to client locations, capture photographs, take measurements, and prepare detailed reports for underwriters.

Reports are submitted online; you set your own schedule with a 21‑day turnaround per inspection and invoices are processed monthly through our cloud system. Reliable transportation and a fast internet connection are required.

Qualifications

• At least two years of comparable experience in home inspection, loss control, or underwriting.
• Reliable transportation and high‑speed internet connection.
• Own smartphone, tablet and PC; proficiency with reporting software.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments with homeowners and conduct on‑site surveys.
• Take photographs and measure property features for reports.
• Document construction details and ownership risks.
• Identify underwriting concerns and outline recommendations.
• Compile replacement‑cost estimates and full inspection reports.
• Submit reports online and ensure quality before underwriting.
