Job summary

Signature Companies seeks experienced Residential Insurance Inspectors to visit property owners in their area and perform interior and high-value dwelling inspections. Independent contractors are paid by completed reports, with orders submitted through a cloud-based system; monthly payments apply.

Qualifications

• Prior underwriting experience preferred.
• Prior inspection experience on residential homes.
• Loss control experience preferred.
• Construction experience preferred.
• Must have Windows and internet proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Visit properties and perform interior and high-value dwelling inspections.
• Take photos and measurements, write reports from home.
• Submit reports to cloud-based system; reports reviewed for quality.
• Coordinate with underwriting staff and schedule inspections.
• Work from home or office; complete reports within 21 days.
