Job summary

The Periscope Group, founded in 1997, is a nationwide network of physical and occupational therapists who perform one-time, in-home medical necessity assessments. Independent consultant opportunities are available for Physical or Occupational Therapists to apply their clinical expertise and make a difference one assessment at a time.

As an independent contractor, you set your own schedule and complete documentation with our review team.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapist.
• Malpractice/Liability insurance may be purchased at offer.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, navigate stairs and varied home environments.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to member homes.
• Proficient with technology and online portals for work tasks.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in training to become a certified wearable device trainer
• Perform one-time medical device training to patients with peripheral neuropathy
• Provide education on use of the device
• Complete documentation in a timely manner with collaboration with the review team as needed
