Job summary

The Periscope Group is a nationwide network of physical and occupational therapists who perform one-time in-home medical necessity assessments. Independent contractor opportunities are available for licensed Physical or Occupational Therapists to conduct home assessments, provide equipment and care recommendations, and complete secure online documentation from any device.

Qualifications

• Active licensure as Physical or Occupational Therapist; no PTAs or COTAs.
• Malpractice insurance may be purchased at the time of offer.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, navigate stairs, and assess home environments.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to member homes.
• Proficient with online portals and documentation on any device.

Responsibilities

• Perform one-time comprehensive medical need assessments in client homes.
• Provide expert recommendations for equipment, service, and care.
• Complete documentation via secure online portal from any device.
