Job summary

The Periscope Group is seeking a Physical / Occupational Therapist Consultant in Bakersfield, CA, for independent contractor opportunities. You will perform comprehensive medical need assessments in patients' homes, providing expert recommendations for their care and equipment.

Qualified candidates must have current licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapist and be able to navigate online portals for documentation. Enjoy flexible scheduling and competitive compensation ranging from $135 to $200 per assessment.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapist (PT or OT, not PTAs or COTAs).
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical assessments as needed.
• Proficient with technology: able to navigate online portals and upload documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform one-time comprehensive medical need assessments in an individual’s home.
• Provide expert recommendations for equipment, service, and care.
• Complete straightforward documentation through our secure online portal.
