Job summary

Integrated Machinery Solutions seeks experienced Independent Field Adjusters to investigate and evaluate daily property claims on behalf of clients. Contractors operate under 1099 status, handling high volumes independently with professional service and integrity.

Responsibilities include managing claims, applying policy coverages, and communicating reserves per carrier expectations while demonstrating construction knowledge and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience handling property claims.
• Minimum 2 years of experience using Xactimate and Symbility estimating software.
• Strong understanding of insurance policies, practices, and procedures.
• General construction knowledge strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promptly manage all assigned claims with minimal oversight.
• Make claim decisions within delegated authority per policies.
• Accurately interpret policy coverages and apply claims practices.
• Establish and communicate reserves per carrier expectations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies, guidelines, and industry practices.
• Understand local construction methods, pricing, and repair standards.
• Submit supplemental reports as needed (e.g., ITV reports).
• Provide exceptional customer service to insureds, clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain high standards of professional conduct on all assignments.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
