Zenovo is seeking a Contract Senior Project Manager with a strong background in medical devices and embedded software to lead end-to-end planning and delivery of complex projects in Belmont, MA. This 10–12 month engagement offers an onsite role with a rate of $110–$120 per hour (W2).

You will act as the primary customer interface, driving scope, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder relationships from initiation to completion, in a regulated development environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in progressive project management in software (embedded).
• 3–5 years managing software projects in medical devices or regulated sectors.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC in regulated environments.
• Hands-on with Jira, GitHub, Trello or similar.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting, and financial management.
• Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced tech environments.

Length: 10–12 Months

Location: Belmont, MA ( onsite mostly)

Rate: $110–$120per hour (W2)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in medical device and regulated software development to join our clients team on a 10–12 month contract.

In this pivotal role, you will lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of multiple complex software projects. Acting as the primary customer interface, you will drive successful outcomes by managing scope, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder relationships from project initiation through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams through the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Manage project scope, schedules, financials, and resource planning

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of progressive project management experience within software development (embedded systems)
• 3–5 years of direct experience managing software projects in the medical device industry or similar regulated sector
• Strong knowledge of SDLC processes and regulated development environments
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, GitHub, Trello, or similar
• Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasting, and project financials
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices
• Exceptional Communication Skills: Able to clearly convey complex technical information to diverse stakeholders
• Strategic Problem-Solver: Skilled at identifying root causes and driving practical solutions
• Adaptable & Resilient: Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with evolving technologies and requirements
