Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required; Chemical or Mechanical preferred.
• Production/manufacturing experience as a Process Engineer is required.
• Demonstrated success working independently with ownership of the process-engineering function.
• Strong analytical and statistical skills.
• Root-cause analysis and continuous-improvement experience.
• Experience creating and revising SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Strong ability to translate data into practical manufacturing improvements.
• Hands-on with operators, maintenance, quality, and production personnel.
• Plastics, polymers, thermoplastics, extrusion, compounding, or related process-manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with manufacturing digitalization, automation, or data-driven process improvement is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and improve existing production/manufacturing processes.
• Design, run, test, analyze, and upgrade systems and processes.
• Evaluate production, process-control, and quality systems using data and statistical analysis.
• Apply statistics including mean, standard deviation, and process variation.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective-action initiatives.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Develop and establish procedures and best practices for high-quality operations.
• Create and revise written procedures and work instructions based on data.
• Develop practical and innovative solutions to improve production rates and product quality.
• Work with production, maintenance, quality, and plant leadership to implement improvements.
• Train employees on new processes, procedures, and process improvements.
• Support ongoing digitalization and modernization of manufacturing processes.
