Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a highly independent Process Engineer for our Griffin, GA plastics manufacturing facility. This role is the primary process-engineering resource, operating as a group of one to identify problems, analyze data, design solutions, and implement improvements.

You will train operators, work with maintenance and quality teams, and contribute to digitalization and data-driven process enhancements that boost safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Chemical or Mechanical preferred.
• Experience as a Process Engineer in production/manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and statistical skills with data-driven mindset.
• Experience creating SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Hands-on with operators, maintenance, and production personnel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve existing production processes.
• Design, run, test, and upgrade systems and processes.
• Use data and statistics to evaluate process-control and quality systems.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement safety, quality, and productivity improvements.
• Train employees on new processes and maintain documentation.
• Support ongoing digitalization and modernization of manufacturing processes.
