Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of experience in private practice setting preferred.
• Must be independently licensed and in good standing as an LPC, LCSW, or equivalent; provisionally licensed associates accepted.
• A thorough knowledge of applicable regulations and standards (Joint Commission, OSHA, CMS, DHS, State and Federal regulations); TB testing, drug screening and background check upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couple, and/or family therapy based on client needs and expertise.
• Conduct intake evaluations, including patient history, mental status examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
• Formulate psychiatric diagnoses and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments for acute cases.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers and other providers to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Refer patients to higher levels of care when needed and ensure continuity of care.
