Job summary

MIND BODY OPTIMIZATION INC is seeking a Private Practice Therapist to deliver high‑quality mental health services in an outpatient setting in Glen Oaks, TN. You will conduct assessments, create individualized plans, and provide evidence-based therapy, working independently within a collaborative clinic culture.

Responsibilities include intake, diagnostic assessment, crisis intervention, and coordination with physicians and social workers to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work preferred.
• Two years of private practice experience preferred.
• Independent licensure as LPC or LCSW or equivalent in good standing.
• Knowledge of DEA/state regulations for prescribing controlled substances.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couple, and/or family therapy based on client needs.
• Conduct intake evaluations, mental status exams, and diagnostic assessments.
• Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with client goals.
• Deliver crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other providers to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate clients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and comply with regulations.
• Monitor prescribing of controlled substances per DEA/state guidelines.
