Job summary

Ellie Mental Health - Clarkston is seeking fully licensed clinicians to join our independent private-practice model in Michigan. This 1099 opportunity provides a furnished office, practice-support services, insurance credentialing, and billing assistance while preserving clinician autonomy over schedules and caseloads.

We offer office space in Clarkston with telehealth capability and collaborative professional community.

Qualifications

Current, unrestricted Michigan clinical license in good standing as LMSW, LPC, LP, or LMFT.
Master’s degree or higher in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or related behavioral-health discipline.
Experience with assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, psychotherapy, risk assessment, and clinical documentation.
Ability to satisfy insurance credentialing and payer-enrollment requirements.
Ability to complete documentation within required clinical and payer timelines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Dependability, organization, professional judgment, ethical boundaries, and follow-through.
Ability to work competently with diverse clients while remaining within scope of practice.
Proficiency with electronic health records; Valant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate as an independent mental health professional and maintain business records.
Conduct assessments, establish diagnoses within scope, create treatment plans, and provide psychotherapy.
Complete progress notes, treatment plans, risk documentation, and payer-required records on time.
Maintain licenses, credentials, liability coverage, and continuing education.
Manage scheduling, client communication, cancellations, and continuity of care.
Comply with HIPAA, ethics, payer requirements, and applicable laws.
