Lago Vista Animal Clinic in Lago Vista, TX is seeking an experienced Pet Groomer to join our veterinary support team. You will perform full grooming services, build rapport with clients, and work alongside a supportive medical staff.

We offer a dedicated grooming facility, flexible schedule Monday–Friday, and competitive compensation—50% commission on grooming services or $10/hour whichever is greater—plus comprehensive benefits. AAHA accreditation and community focus set us apart.

Qualifications

• Professional pet grooming experience with a variety of dog breeds and coat types.
• Knowledge of breed-specific grooming standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform full grooming services including bathing, drying, haircuts/styling, brush-outs, nail trims, de-matting, ear cleaning, and gland expression.
• Evaluate each pet’s coat and skin condition and communicate grooming recommendations to owners.
• Engage with clients to understand grooming preferences and expectations.
• Safely handle pets of various sizes and temperaments during grooming procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized grooming area throughout the day and at shift end.

Lago Vista Animal Clinic is excited to welcome an experienced Pet Groomer to our growing veterinary support team. We are a full-service practice providing comprehensive medical care alongside professional grooming services, and we take pride in serving pets and their families in our community.

Our hospital features a dedicated,state-of-the-artgrooming facility where groomers have the autonomy to manage their services, build relationships with clients, and work alongside a supportive veterinary team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated groomer who enjoys working independently while being part of a collaborative hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Schedule and Compensation :

• Compensation for this role is based on 50% commission on grooming services, or $10 per hour worked, whichever is greater.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8am until grooming appointments are complete for the day.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
