The successful candidate will diagnose and treat patients using CBT, motivational interviewing, and problem-solving while contributing to the development of the Behavioral Health Program.

Qualifications

• MSW or related field required.
• State licensure as LCSW or LPC or LSCSW.
• Minimum 2 years direct clinical behavioral health experience.
• Formal training in brief counseling techniques (CBT, PST).
• Competence with DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and treatment planning.
• Ability to establish rapport quickly with diverse patients.
• Proven ability to work within a care team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake visits with detailed behavioral health and substance use history.
• Provide DSM-5 based diagnoses and treatment recommendations to PCPs and psychiatry.
• Review Integrated Behavioral Health Model and focus on skills-based interventions.
• Assess suicide risk using CSSR SP-C when indicated.
• Deliver brief psychosocial interventions (CBT, MI,BA, Problem-Solving).
• Monitor symptoms via patient registry (PHQ-9, GAD-7, AUDIT).
• Coordinate treatment plans among PCPs and consulting psychiatrists.
• Provide immediate same-day intervention or crisis de-escalation when needed.
