Job summary

Sam's East, Inc. is seeking an Independent Optometrist leasing space inside our stores to lead patient care in eye and vision health as well as general wellbeing. You will establish your days and hours, control your patient schedule, and set your fee schedule while keeping 100% of exam and professional fees.

As a lease holder you may opt into advanced equipment or administrative support if state allows, creating a flexible, market-based practice inside the Sam's Club environment in Columbia, SC.

Qualifications

• OD degree from an accredited optometry school.
• Valid state optometry license required.
• Ophthalmologist MD/DO from an accredited school.
• Valid state ophthalmology license required.
• General Liability Certificate/Professional Liability Insurance Certificate.
• ME/VA license agreements are with Gumberg Asset Management Company.

Responsibilities

• Establish your days of practice.
• Establish your hours of operation.
• Control your patient schedule.
• Set your fee schedule.
• Keep 100 of exam/professional fees.
• Launch your services in Sam's Club as Independent Lease Holder.

Education

Doctor of Optometry OD from an accredited optometry school

Ophthalmologist MD or DO from an accredited school
