Qualifications

• OD degree from an accredited optometry school.
• Current state optometry license.
• MD or DO in ophthalmology from an accredited school.
• State ophthalmology license.
• General liability certificate.
• Professional liability insurance certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide eye and vision care as an independent optometrist leasing space inside Walmart stores.
• Lead patient care with respect to eye health and general well-being.
• Set your days of practice, hours of operation, and patient schedule; keep 100% of exam fees.

Education

Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school

Valid state optometry license

Ophthalmologist (MD or DO) from an accredited school
