Job summary

Sam's East, Inc. is recruiting an Independent Optometrist to launch eye and vision care services inside a Sam's Club location. You will lead patient care with a focus on vision health, while controlling practice days, hours, and fee schedules as an autonomous lease holder.

You can opt into advanced equipment and support services where allowed, and retain 100% of your exam and professional fees. This role emphasizes independence within Walmart's store environment.

Qualifications

• OD from an accredited optometry school.
• Valid state optometry license.
• MD or DO in Ophthalmology from an accredited school.
• Valid state ophthalmology license.
• General/Professional liability insurance certificate.
• ME/VA license agreements with Gumberg Asset Management Company.

Responsibilities

• Launch optometry services in Sam's Club and lead patient care.
• Establish days of practice, hours, and control patient schedule.
• Set your fee schedule and retain 100% of exam/professional fees.
• Optional: access advanced equipment and admin/tech support if allowed.
