Job summary

NOFS (Northern Ohio Field Services) is seeking an experienced Mortgage Inspector in Flint, MI. You will work independently to inspect residential properties, verify occupancy status, and document findings using inspection software.

The role is a contractor position with pay per inspection and the ability to set your own schedule. Prior mortgage inspection experience is preferred, along with reliable transportation and passing a background check.

Qualifications

• US Citizen or Green Card holder
• Willing to obtain Shieldhub/ABC background check
• Reliable transportation to travel to properties
• Experience with mortgage inspections (default) preferred
• Experience with InspectorADE software a plus
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good time management and attention to detail
• Tech-savvy and quick to learn new tools

Responsibilities

• Conduct residential property inspections to determine occupancy status
• Document findings using inspection software and take photos of properties
• Deliver delinquency letters and report results to accounts manager
• Complete inspections within designated timelines and meet performance metrics
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of inspections
• Communicate professionally with account managers and clients
• Travel to Flint, MI and surrounding counties as needed
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to industry regulations and guidelines
