Job summary

NOFS (Northern Ohio Field Services) in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking an experienced Mortgage Inspector to join our team as a contractor. You will conduct inspections on residential properties to confirm occupancy status and deliver necessary documents, working independently without supervision.

As a contractor, you will earn $25–$35 per hour, have flexibility to set your schedule, and travel to properties in the area.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to travel to properties.
• Experience with mortgage inspections is preferred.
• Familiarity with InspectorADE is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
• Must be a US citizen or hold a green card.
• Willing to obtain required background check (Shieldhub/ABC).

Responsibilities

• Conduct residential property inspections to verify occupancy status and deliver delinquency letters.
• Use inspection software and tools to document and report findings.
• Take photos of properties and attach documents as needed.
• Complete inspections within designated timelines and meet performance metrics.
• Communicate with account manager professionally and timely.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of inspections.
• Demonstrate professionalism at all times.
• Travel to properties in Ann Arbor, MI and surrounding counties as needed.
