Job summary

NOFS (Northern Ohio Field Services) is seeking an experienced Mortgage Inspector to join our team in Gaylord, MI. This contractor role involves independent work conducting inspections on residential properties to determine occupancy status and report findings.

You will use inspection software, take photos, and meet deadlines, with pay of $25–$35 per hour. You can set your own schedule as a 1099 contractor, with travel to local properties.

Qualifications

• Must be US Citizen or Green Card holder.
• Reliable Transportation.
• Experience in Default Mortgage Inspections.
• Experience with InspectorADE.
• Effective Communication.
• Ability to work independently, without supervision, to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Must be willing to obtain Shieldhub/ABC background check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct residential property inspections to ensure occupancy status.
• Deliver delinquency letters and conduct insurance inspections.
• Utilize inspection software and tools to document and report findings.
• Take photos of properties and deliver documents as needed.
• Complete inspections within designated timelines and meet performance metrics.
• Communicate with account manager in a professional manner.
• Travel to properties in Gaylord, MI and surrounding counties.
