Job summary

Carlisle Construction Materials is seeking a hands-on machine operator for third shift in Acworth, GA. You will independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot one machine at a time, and support the line by following work orders and inspecting product dimensions.

Responsibilities include machine adjustments, basic quality checks, packaging tasks, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Overtime and weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of six months of manufacturing experience or related work.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, thread the material through, and operate independently one machine (Shear, PNL, Turret, Brake Press, Robotic Cell, Cut-to-Length, Roll Forming/Seaming, Press Lock, Welder/Paint Booth).
• Follow daily manufacturing work orders with attention to materials and notes.
• Assist with operation of other machinery under supervision.
• Assist with packaging at end of line as needed.
• Band and palletize metal coils/sheets; tag finished product.
• Perform quality checks for lengths, widths, and weights using appropriate tools.
• Aim to meet production goals while following safety requirements.
• Adjust machinery based on observations and monitoring feedback; perform QC methods.
• Follow lockout/tagout and daily equipment inspection procedures.
