Job summary

Managed Medical Review Organization, Inc. seeks Independent Medical Evaluator (IME) contractors to provide impartial medical assessments for disability and workers’ compensation determinations.

You will interpret medical evidence, assess functional impact, and deliver clear, defensible medical opinions. This is an independent contractor role with flexible scheduling, offering the ability to contribute to claim decisions across the country and collaborate with MMRO’s Panel Health Program and

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license.
• Board certification in your specialty.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of post-training clinical experience.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
• Commitment to objective, evidence-based medical assessment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent medical evaluations and chart reviews per state regulations, MMRO standards, and clinical best practices.
• Produce well-structured medical reports that clearly communicate your clinical reasoning and conclusions.
• Maintain impartiality, adhere to licensing requirements, and collaborate with MMRO panels and case teams.
