Zusammenfassung

Managed Medical Review Organization (MMRO) is recruiting Independent Medical Evaluators to provide impartial medical assessments that guide defensible benefit and disability decisions. You will review records, perform evaluations, and deliver clear opinions as part of a nationwide, contractor-based program.

You will work with a national panel, maintain objectivity, and comply with licensing and MMRO quality standards.

Qualifikationen

• MD or DO with active, unrestricted medical license.
• Board certification in your specialty.
• 3–5 years post-training clinical experience.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Conduct independent medical evaluations and chart reviews per state regulations, MMRO standards, and clinical best practices.
• Review medical records and data to render objective, defensible conclusions.
• Perform in-person examinations when required and assess functional impact, causation, and impairment using established guidelines.
• Produce well-structured medical reports that clearly communicate clinical reasoning and conclusions.
• Communicate with MMRO’s Panel Health Program and case teams to clarify questions or provide medical insight.
