Job summary

Tempus Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a Community-Based Direct Support Professional to provide person-centered instruction and supervision to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities across program and community settings.

You will promote independence through life skills coaching, support community participation, and maintain a safe, respectful environment, while documenting activities and coordinating with families and teams.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• MAP Certification within 6 months of employment.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of employment.
• Successful completion of all required state and agency training courses.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered instruction, support, and supervision to adults with IDD.
• Assist with ADLs and IADLs to promote independence.
• Support community participation and transportation as assigned.
• Document shift notes, attendance, and observations accurately.
• Collaborate with families, clinicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
