Job summary

Open Sky Community Services seeks a Residential Counselor to support individuals in residential and community settings. You will assist with daily living activities, skill development, and goal attainment, while promoting safety, advocacy, and engagement.

Responsibilities include developing person-centered plans, facilitating access to community resources, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role emphasizes trauma-informed care and inclusive, strength-based support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record is required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities and skill development.
• Assist individuals with accessing transportation and community resources.
• Implement activities that promote community inclusion, relationship building, personal growth, and development of valued social roles.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment that promotes health, safety, and well-being.
• Review, complete, and maintain all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
