Job summary

Open Sky Community Services is seeking a Residential Counselor to provide direct care and skill-building support in residential and community-based settings. The role emphasizes advocacy, inclusion, and helping individuals achieve personal goals and greater independence.

Responsibilities include implementing individualized plans, assisting with daily living activities, transportation access, and community engagement, while maintaining a safe, healthy environment and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing individualized, person-centered service plans and support their implementation.
• Provide support with daily living activities, skill development, and personal goal achievement.
• Assist individuals with accessing transportation and community resources as needed.
• Implement activities that promote community inclusion, relationship building, personal growth, and valued social roles.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment ensuring health and well-being of individuals served.
• Review, complete, and maintain all required documentation accurately and timely.
