Job summary

North Star Independent Living Supports LLC is seeking a Life Skills Instructor in Indio, California. In this role, you will assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving their goals through teaching and support. Candidates should have a high school diploma, a clean background and DMV record, First Aid and CPR certification, and at least one year of experience working with intellectually/developmentally disabled populations. The position offers a pay range of $18.00 to $19.00 per hour, along with benefits like mileage reimbursement and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must have a clean background check.
• Must have a clean DMV record.
• Must possess First Aid and CPR Certification.
• Must have valid vehicle insurance and proof of vehicle registration.
• At least one year experience with the intellectually/developmentally disabled population required.
• Ability to lift, stoop, bend, and pull up to 40 lbs.
