The Independent Living Facilitator II (ILF II) provides essential support, care, and companionship to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, who have additional health and safety needs under a Health and Safety Waiver (HSW) from the Department of Developmental Services (DDS). This role involves assisting with daily activities, household tasks, and community involvement, tailored to each participant\'s unique needs and preferences. The ILF II position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact by helping individuals achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life.

General household work not related to the care of the Participant does not exceed 20% of the total weekly hours worked. The responsibilities of the ILF shall vary based upon the needs of the agency and the needs and preferences of the Participant(s) but shall not exceed the limitations of a personal attendant under wage order 15 of the California Code.
