Job summary

Kindly Direct Care is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one opportunity in Morris County, NJ. The role involves supporting a 23-year-old individual with a mild intellectual disability, assisting with daily activities, and accompanying outings in the community.

The candidate should be dependable, patient, and comfortable working one-to-one, with onboarding, background checks, and training provided.

Qualifications

• Schedule must exactly match posted hours.
• Onboarding, background checks, and training required.
• Ability to work one-to-one with an adult.
• Driving on shift is required.

Responsibilities

• Support an adult with developmental disabilities at home and/or in the community.
• Assist with community outings (shopping, hiking) and help participant enjoy activities.
• Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward goals.
• Assist with routines and activities based on individual needs.
• Maintain safety and follow individualized support plans.
• Complete required documentation and communicate with Kindly team.
