Job summary

Kindly Direct Care is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one opportunity in Morris County, New Jersey. The DSP will provide in-home support to an adult with developmental disabilities, following individualized guidance and safety protocols.

Schedule: Sundays 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. Pay: $18–$22/hour. Driving on shift not required. This role is well-suited for students or professionals seeking meaningful part-time work in the Boonton area.

• Must be able to consistently commit to the exact posted schedule.
• Dependable, respectful, patient, and comfortable working one-to-one.
• Able to complete onboarding, background checks, and training.

Responsibilities

• Support an adult with developmental disabilities at home.
• Engage in activities such as reading books, listening to music, or outdoor activities to stay engaged.
• Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals.
• Assist with routines and activities based on individual needs.
• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.
• Complete required documentation after services and communicate reliably with the Kindly team.
