Job summary

Kindly Direct Care is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional to provide one-to-one support for a 23-year-old client in Morris County, NJ. The role emphasizes an active lifestyle, community outtings, and helping with daily routines while ensuring safety and independence.

You will document services after each shift, communicate with the team, and commit to the posted schedule (8 hours per week). Transportation on shift is required in Morristown, NJ 07960.

Qualifications

• Able to commit to the exact posted schedule.
• Dependable, respectful, patient, and comfortable working one-to-one.
• Experience preferred.
• Able to complete onboarding, background checks, and training.

We’re looking for a laid-back, dependable DSP to support a 23-year-old guy with a mild intellectual disability. He is very active and enjoys hiking, shopping, and spending time in the community. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle, exploring the outdoors, and helping with everyday responsibilities such as staying on top of schoolwork, time management, and keeping his apartment clean. The ideal fit is someone with a calm, easygoing personality who enjoys being active and providing supportive supervision!
