Job summary

Vinfen seeks compassionate Direct Support Professionals to provide individual and group support in a residential program. You will teach skills to promote independence, safety, and community integration, helping individuals participate fully in their communities.

Responsibilities include developing supports and plans, monitoring progress, coordinating with nurses and case managers, maintaining records, and ensuring a clean, safe home environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in becoming fully integrated into their communities and develop and maintain friendships.
• Assist individuals to access community-based support and resources.
• Plan recreational and social activities that promote inclusion and well-being.
• Empower individuals to be self-advocates and involved in decisions about supports.
• Support access to assistive tech and adaptive equipment for independence.
• Assist in securing, maintaining, and growing work, volunteer, and community-engagement opportunities.
• Provide training and support in home, including ADLs, budgeting, and daily tasks.
• Maintain records, progress notes, and incident documentation; communicate with care team.
