Job summary

The Periscope Group is a nationwide network of physical and occupational therapists who perform one-time, in-home medical necessity assessments. You’ll assess patients in their homes and offer recommendations to support independence.

Set your own schedule as an independent contractor with compensation per assessment, and gain access to continuing education benefits and mentoring within a national consultant network.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapist.
• Malpractice/Liability Insurance (may be purchased at time of offer).
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, navigate stairs and varied home environments.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to member homes.
• Proficient with technology: navigate online portals, upload documents, and use devices.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform one-time comprehensive medical need assessments in a home.
• Provide expert recommendations for equipment, service, and care to empower independence.
• Complete documentation through a secure online portal accessible from any device.
