Job summary

American Health Associates seeks a Mobile Phlebotomist to visit patient homes, nursing facilities, and assisted living communities in the Knoxville region, delivering on-site laboratory services with compassionate patient care.

You will travel to patient locations, perform venipuncture and capillary collections, verify identifications, and ensure accurate labeling and transport of specimens. Excellent communication and a professional demeanor are essential.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; 1+ year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Self-direction to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes and healthcare facilities to collect blood samples.
• Perform venipuncture and capillary collection.
• Verify patient identity and ensure proper labeling, transport, and sample integrity.
