Job summary

American Health Associates is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to serve patients in Kingsport, TN and surrounding communities. You will visit patient homes, nursing facilities, and clinics, collecting specimens with care and professionalism.

The role emphasizes independent work with flexible schedules, delivering high-quality draws and accurate documentation to support our national network of laboratories.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and age 21+.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Self-direction to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across Northeast Ohio
• Collect blood specimens using expert venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
• Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners

The role

Are you a skilled phlebotomist who enjoys working independently and providing exceptional patient care? We’re seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to join our growing team serving patients throughout the Cleveland/Akron region — visiting patient homes, skilled nursing and assisted living communities, and bringing quality laboratory services directly to the people who need them most.

What your day looks like

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across Northeast Ohio

Requirements
