Job summary

FeldCare Connects in San Diego is seeking a self-motivated Speech Therapist to deliver premier care for adults in home health. This Independent Contractor role focuses on assessment, treatment planning, and interventions to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive function.

You will work with patients of all ages in the San Diego area, set your own schedule, and enjoy independence while receiving administrative support from FeldCare Connects.

Qualifications

• Ability and enthusiasm in working with all ages.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, plan, establish, and execute a proper treatment program in accordance with the physician's referral.
• Review the patient's responses to treatment and make recommendations to the physician.
• Instruct, teach, and monitor patients, their families, and health team members regarding speech therapy procedures.
• Make recommendations based on the home setting and individual patient needs.
• Keep a record of each patient visit and detailed notes in the medical record.
• Monitor progress and adjust therapy as needed.
