Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from ACOTE/AOTA accredited program.
• State licensure as an occupational therapist.
• Up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and rehabilitation programs.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical and psychological assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Assess home and work environments and recommend adaptations.
• Advise on adaptive equipment to facilitate daily activities.
• Develop rehabilitation programs to restore lost skills.
• Prepare clients for return to work.
• Educate caregivers and family members on patient care.
• Evaluate progress and outcomes of therapy.
• Maintain knowledge of current best practices and standards.
