Job summary

Texas Digestive Disease Consultants - Jacksonville, powered by GI Alliance, seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide scheduled patient services under physician supervision in hospital and clinic settings.

You will complete histories and physicals, determine tentative diagnoses, order labs, counsel patients, and stay credentialed, while participating in ongoing education and maintaining clinical excellence within a physician-led MSO environment.

Qualifications

• State Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Gastrointestinal experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in both a hospital & clinic setting
• Complete patient histories and physicals
• Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests
• Counsel patients and family on health and disease
• Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes at assigned medical facilities
• Work flexible schedule as dictated by business needs and operations
• Paid call
• Perform other duties as assigned
