Job summary

GI Alliance is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) in Providence, RI, to deliver scheduled patient services under physician supervision in hospital and clinic settings.

You will complete patient histories and physicals, determine tentative diagnoses, order labs, and counsel patients and families while maintaining credentialing standards and pursuing ongoing education across affiliated facilities.

Qualifications

• State-licensed NP or PA in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in both a hospital & clinic setting
• Complete patient histories and physicals
• Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests
• Counsel patient and family on health and disease
• Participate in continuing education and credentialing requirements at assigned medical facilities
• Work flexible schedule as dictated by business needs and operations
• Perform other duties as assigned
