Job summary

MyFreightWorld is seeking motivated 1099 agents in the Kansas City area to represent the company and manage shipments within our TMS ecosystem. The role emphasizes honesty, integrity, and proactive communication with customers and carriers to ensure smooth lifecycle handling of loads.

Agents will be responsible for onboarding customers and truckload carriers, vetting prospective carriers, and ensuring documentation accuracy (Rate Confirmation, BOL, etc.). Training and support are provided.

Responsibilities

• Represent MyFreightWorld with honesty and integrity
• Onboard all Customers and Truckload Carriers into TMS
• Identify and vet all prospective Truckload Carriers
• Ensure all necessary parties get proper documentation along lifecycle of shipment (Rate Con, BOL, etc.)
• Coordinate the pickup and delivery of all shipments
• Communicate with Customers and Carriers all pertinent information along life cycle of the shipment; problem solve when issues arise
• Keep accurate client records and update management software accordingly
