Job summary

H & S Loss Control Inspections, Inc. is seeking qualified field inspectors for insurance loss control in Tupelo, MS. This is an independent contractor role with flexible schedules and field-based work.

You will review assignments, schedule inspections, perform property evaluations, take photos, collect data, and complete reports online using Loss Control 360. Prior experience in commercial loss control and knowledge of property/casualty lines are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial loss control inspections.
• Understanding of commercial property and casualty lines.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Comfortable completing reports online and uploading documents.

Responsibilities

• Receives assignments electronically and reviews for inspection requirements.
• Schedules the inspection appointment with the Insured by phone, email, or text.
• Inspects the property for potential issues or hazards pertaining to utilities/building systems, common areas, maintenance, protections, and life safety; takes 20-35 exterior/interior photos; takes measurements as needed.
• Interviews the Insured for operations information and ages of building systems.
• Communicates inspection status through online application.
• Completes the inspection report on the web-based Loss Control 360 system with Rapid Sketch; returns the completed report electronically.
