Job summary

H & S Loss Control Inspections, Inc. is seeking qualified field inspectors for insurance loss control in the Tupelo area. This is an independent contractor role with pay per case, typically $65-$75 depending on inspection type and complexity.

Ideal applicants have 3–5 years of experience in commercial loss control inspections or completed the VIITA Basic Commercial Line Inspector course, and can report findings online via the required systems.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in the USA and conduct commercial line inspections.
• Direct experience in commercial line inspections preferred.
• Completed training such as VIITA Basic Commercial Line Inspector or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Receive assignments electronically and review inspection requirements.
• Schedule inspection with insured by phone, email, or text.
• Inspect property for hazards in utilities/building systems, common areas, maintenance, protections and life safety; take 20-35 exterior/interior photos; take measurements.
• Interview the insured for operations information.
• Communicate inspection status through online application.
• Complete inspection report on Loss Control 360 with Rapid Sketch and return electronically.
