Job summary

Signature Companies is seeking a self-motivated Field Consultant to conduct on-site High Value Property Surveys for Bergen, Union, Morris, Somerset, Passaic counties from a home-based setup. You will independently manage surveys, reporting, and client communications while adhering to company guidelines.

The role offers flexible scheduling as a 1099 contractor with mentoring from a dedicated Field Management team, and requires proactive fieldwork, reliability, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Prior underwriting experience is desirable.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• BA or BS degree desired, but not required.
• Must have smartphone, tablet and personal computer.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct on-site high-value property surveys.
• Visit properties, take photos and measurements.
• Identify construction materials and features; document major hazards.
• Generate an estimated replacement value and report via loss control system.
• Coordinate with underwriters and respond to follow-up inquiries.
